Independent tax advisor (freelance)
Our team is growing. We are looking for an experienced tax advisor who can operate independently, but who works as part of the Nozick team under the leadership of Toine Manders. Preferably with experience in guiding people through emigration. This is an engagement as an independent contractor (freelance), not an employment position.

About the engagement
Nozick Consulting advises entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals on tax planning, asset protection and emigration. Because of the strongly growing client demand for advice, we are looking to expand the team with an experienced tax advisor who can handle complex cases and contribute right away.
You work as an independent contractor (freelancer) from your own business and strengthen our team on an engagement basis. We currently have plenty of work, so you can make a lot of hours. We are looking for a long-term collaboration on an independent basis.
How we work
At Nozick Consulting we do most things as a team. You work partly independently and partly together with the rest of the team, led by Toine Manders. You bring the skills to operate independently; together we achieve the best result for our clients.
What drives us: creative solutions that deliver large savings for clients. We are looking for people who are willing to invest in that. We always stay within the rules, but we are not afraid to explore the limits of what is possible.
What will you do?
- Work out tax cases, partly independently and partly together with the team, in particular around emigration.
- Analyse complex international situations and turn them into clear advice.
- In time – preferably as soon as possible – hold client conversations yourself, so that we can offer our services more competitively.
What do we ask of you?
- A degree in tax law or tax economics.
- Preferably experience in guiding people through emigration, and in particular in guiding entrepreneurs through their emigration. These are the most complex situations; whoever has worked on them truly knows the subject. A recent graduate with demonstrably in-depth knowledge of the subject is also welcome to apply.
- A good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Able to operate independently and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Willingness to invest in creative solutions that deliver large savings for clients, within the rules.
A plus
- Knowledge of inheritance tax and the business succession scheme.
- Experience with Dutch box 3.
- Experience with international structures or trust offices.

About Toine Manders
Toine Manders (1969) is a tax lawyer, entrepreneur and tax expert, and leads the team. As director of trust firm HJC he dealt with corporate law and international structures for thousands of clients. One milestone was the Inspire Art case before the European Court of Justice, which established that every entrepreneur in the EU may establish their business in another member state. In 2017 he testified before the parliamentary inquiry committee on tax structures, and he has spoken at hundreds of seminars for entrepreneurs and their advisors.
